COLOR INSTRUCTION SHEET

In 1980, during the Geneva Motor Show, the German car manufacturer from Ingolstadt presented its new two-door coup, the Audi Quattro. Produced throughout the 1980s, its Italian name highlights its main feature: four-wheel drive. At the time, four-wheel drive on a vehicle aimed at generating high sales figures was indeed an important innovation. The Quattro guaranteed good performance combined with excellent road holding on any type of surface. The longitudinal front engine was capable of delivering appreciable performance. A competition version was also created, which debuted in the World Rally Championship in 1981, achieving good results. The success of the Quattro continues to this day, so much so that the Italian name has become a true brand that identifies the entire latest range of Audis four-wheel-drive cars.

The Audi 90 is a German middle-class passenger car that was first presented to the public in 1984. Its serial production started in the same year and lasted until 1994. Production was concentrated in the plants of Audi AG in Ingolstadt, Germany.

Model 90 was developed and put into production in order to complement the company’s commercial offer and its strengthening in the segment of middle class cars. In essence, the Audi 90 is a development of the Audi 80, which is very similar to its predecessor in terms of design and many components used. However, it differs much richer basic and additional equipment, it is also more luxurious and has better performance. It is also characterized by a lower failure rate. In total, there were two generations of Audi 90 with the designations B2 and B3. A variant of the B4 was also created, but it was only offered in the North American market from 1993 to 1995. All Audi 90s were offered exclusively as 4-door sedans, with engines ranging from 1.6 to 2.3 liters as the propulsion. The model was replaced in the company’s offer by the Audi A5.
